With a special permit, I was allowed to photograph in a very special place. Why special? It was there, for me, very emotional. I could spend hours describing what I saw and what I learned but no word can tell how terrible this part of the german history was. My pictures should contribute to the culture of remembrance, help to keep the memory alive and make people think. I prefer to let my pictures speak again.
Hopefully you’re able to visit that place of remembrance by your own.
My respect and deep commiseration goes to the victims and to their families.
